The HBS learning model affords students an opportunity to both teach and learn from fellow students. In order to fully participate in this environment, it is essential that all admitted students have a basic foundation for discussing and understanding business subjects.

All prematriculants must complete specific academic requirements before the beginning of classes. In addition to this standard preparation, the Board has also determined that you would specifically benefit from additional programs and/or classes in the following areas:

  • Pre-MBA International Program: Recommended

PreMBA International an intensive learning acculturation program designed to help you make a smooth transition to your MBA studies at HBS. It consists of three modules: Enhancing Classroom Readiness, Case Exam Writing, and Case Method Business Learning, which will help you expand and adapt your current skills to meet the demands of the HBS learning environment. In addition, the program provides an opportunity to start building a network of colleagues and friends from many parts of the world.

Student response to the PreMBA International Program has been overwhelmingly positive. A Participants remark that the program has prepared them for life as an HBS student, both in and out of the classroom.
